About our Director:
Kent Skov founded the LAC in 1977. Skov was a member of the Committee in San Francisco where he worked with Del Close. Skov has worked with Second City founder Paul Sills and academy award directors Marty Pasetta, Lou Horvitz and Don Mischner. Skov is a member of the DGA,WGA and Aftra. He worked on many late night variety shows including Dolly Parton, Rick Dees and Alan Thicke. Skov was the mastermind behind the cult hit dubbing series Mad Movies that ran for 7 years on Nick at Night, MTV and syndication. A book is coming out about Mad Movies. Skov was nominated for a CableAce award for "Best Comedy Special" on A&E network. Skov has had deals with Dick Clark, Syfy, Fox, Disney, Universal, ABC, NBC, A&E and MGM to name a few. Currently Skov has 3 series in development with MPPTV producers of Ghost Stories on A&E. Skov is offering a 4 week introductory class in improv with a show and some students may be asked to join the performance groups. Skov has trained Will Ferrell & Matthew Perry

All classes are 4 consecutive weeks for 3 hours each from 7:30-10:30pm with a show scheduled on the Saturday at 7pm following the 4th Monday class. If needed an additional show will be added the same Saturday at 2pm.
The Saturday morning class is for all ages and is from 9am-12pm with a weekly show starting after the 4th class from 11am-12noon. This will be an ongoing class that will evolve into weekly shows. Limit 20 per class size.
The Saturday afternoon class is for ages 16 and older from 12-3pm with a show scheduled at 7pm Saturday night the day of the last class. Classes must have 12 or more student or will be recheduled. Cost $124 includes 2 tickets to a show.
More classes will be added for adults Saturdays from 12-3pm and Tuesday weekdays from 1-4pm if demand is needed in the future.
An all age class will be added Sunday mornings from 10am-1pm with a weekly show starting on the 4th class from 12-1pm as demand is needed.
No audition is needed to join the classes and after completing the class some students may be asked to join our repertory company and become a regular performer in our adult, teen or young kids divisions.

If your schedule does not fit the current class schedule don't worry as we will add additional nights or days upon enough requests for times. Please call and let us know what days or nights are good for you and we will create a list of 12 or more students and start a class.
